We are currently hard at work reading submissions – answers to subs coming soon, but in the meantime, we wanted to remind you of a campaign here at MODRON to support medical aid for children in Gaza. For the duration of NaNoWriMo, we will be posting a writing prompt every day and in doing so, we are hoping to encourage our community to donate to charities providing medical aid to children in desperate need in this unprecedented crisis.
In week 1 of November, we posted a moving poem by peace campaigner and a president of PEN Cymru Menna Elfyn: ‘Eto Fyth yn Gaza’ / ‘Gauze in Gaza’ as well as thoughtful writing prompts by Abeer Ameer, Sara Abou Rashed, Polly Atkin, Kathryn Bevis, and Helen Bowell.
Week 2 has seen prompts by Zoe Brigley, Jude Brigley, Zakia Carpenter-Hall, Rachael Clyne, Jane Burn, Sian Melangell Dafydd and going live on Sunday 12th November, Jeremy Dixon. Look out for more prompts this week.
